Before Christmas, the ‘Super Singers' ventured out for the second time and sung their favourite carols to the St Giles and Aran Court Care Home. It was a very special, festive morning where the younger and the older generations came together to sing and be jolly together! The children shared a special moment with Martin, a resident at Aran court. He told them a story about the carol 'Silent Night' Explaining how this was sung during WWI on Christmas Day in both German and English. The children listened beautifully to the story, and enjoyed a rendition of Silent Night in German. I felt immensely proud of the children and it was lovely to hear such wonderful comments from the staff.
