Homework is a crucial part of embedding learning from school and we encourage children to take an active and willing part in their homework, especially in Year 2 with it being such an important year.

We then enjoy really celebrating our homework and achievements in class together, awarding 'Homework of the Week' and displaying it on our 'Homework Hall of Fame':

In colder months children we recommend a plain dark (preferable black) pair of jogging bottoms and sweatshirt top or a tracksuit and underneath they wear their school RED PE top. These must be plain, no designer logos, football tops etc.

In order to encourage a healthy lifestyle we also take part in the daily mile.

In year two to encourage positive behaviour we award children with tallies - the child with the most tallies each day will be rewarded with a sweet.

The children are split up into their Saint house teams and each day the tallies are added up and the team with the most tallies are awarded with medals the following day!

We also have a class reward chart, if the class show fantastic behaviour they get to colour in a number on our chart. When they reach 100 they get an exciting whole class reward!
