As historians, we have been learning about Civil Rights.

By the end of this unit, we will:

• Know the significance of key figures in the Civil Rights movement such as Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King
• Know some of the key legal developments in relation to civil rights of the last century
• Understand that the Civil Rights movement continues in modern times.
