As Historians, we will be learning about Local Heroes, focusing on Chelmund and William Shakespeare.

By the end of this unit, we will be able to:

• Describe some ways in which Chelmsley Wood was different when Chelmund first settled here.
• Give some reasons why Shakespeare is considered a hero.
• Explain how we know about these significant individuals from the past.
