As biologists, we are learning about Inheritance and Evolution in our unit Everything Changes.

By the end of this unit, we will:

• Know that that living things produce offspring of the same kind, but that offspring normally vary and are not identical to their parents
• Know that animals and plants have adapted to suit their environment in different ways and that adaptation may lead to evolution
• Know that life cycles have evolved to help organisms survive to adulthood and that fossils provide information about living things that inhabited the Earth millions of years ago
