As biologists, we have been learning about living things and their habitats in our unit Our Changing World.
By the end of this unit, we will:
- Know that living things are classified into broad groups according to common observable characteristics, similarities and differences, including micro-organisms, plants and animals; identify how animals and plants are adapted to suit their environment in different ways and that adaptation may lead to evolution
- Know that variation exists within a population (and between offspring of some plants)
- Know that oganisms best suited to their environment are more likely to survive long enough to reproduce
