Remembrance Day
November is the month of remembrance where we take time to remember the fallen soldiers from all wars, including those that continue today.
We celebrated a beautiful Remembrance Mass in church, which 5C beautifully led, and have had several Collective Worship sessions based around remembrance.
Year 5 have each made an individual poppy which has been beautifully put together to make a class wreath. These are absolutely fantastic- a big thank you to Mrs McGann and Mrs Bethell for your creativity.
The children have also written the name of a deceased love one on a class page which will then be put together with other classes to make a school book of remembrance.
