As physicists, we are learning about Electricity in our unit Switched On.
By the end of this unit, we will be able to:
- Know that a source of electricity (mains of battery) is needed for electrical devices to work
- Know that electricity sources push electricity round a circuit
- Know that electricity sources push electricity round a circuit
- Know that devices work harder when more electricity goes through them
- Know that a complete circuit is needed for electricity to flow and devices to work
- Know that some materials allow electricity to flow easily and these are called conductors
- Know that materials that don’t allow electricity to flow easily are called insulators
